It happened again, didn’t it? You thought you had it all figured out. You believe, and have proved yourself many times that the law of attraction works, yet you find yourself moving slowly toward your dream life. You know that all it takes for manifesting your desires is to set your vibrational tone and align energetically with what you want. The question is… are you doing it consistently? Do you slip back into the old way of doing and being?
We haven’t been taught about the importance of our emotions and vibration we radiate daily. Even years after studying and implementing principles of the Law of Attraction, I’ll still sometimes fall into the trap that my day will depend on the effort and struggle, other people and even luck. Often times, I’d start my day with the energy of yesterday and recreate same old experiences. I’d think about the problems instead of solutions. I’d focus on the “negative” behaviour of others, instead focusing on how I want to experience them. The tendency is to do what you’ve been doing, unless you’re conscious and intentional.
It doesn’t take long for me now to remember that I am the creator of my own reality and simply to return my attention inward, set my vibrational tone and have my day start off the way I want it. It is just a matter of being consistent.
It never fails! If I have crappy and unsatisfying experiences, I know I created it all, and I know I can choose to create anew at every moment.
When you do the inner work first and set your vibrational tone before you’re up and running, a whole new world opens up to you. All kinds of circumstances and serendipitous experiences happen for your benefit. When you look for what you want to feel and see, that becomes your experience.
Setting your vibrational tone
We’ve already established that your personal vibrational frequency is everything. To set your vibrational tone high and allow wonderful things to come to you easily, start with the end in mind. Think about what you want to have happen first thing in the morning. Ask yourself, what is the dominant emotion(s) I want to experience today? And give it your undivided attention for a few minutes. If you’ve woken up tired, you’ll probably want to start with ease and bask in the comfort of your bed for a while. If you’ve had a good night sleep, you may want to spice it up a little and add some fun, passion, and exhilaration to the mix. Start from where you are and build up the feeling good momentum. You could meditate on a specific feeling or mantra, journal… It doesn’t matter what it is as long as you make that deliberate decision and take one inspired action.
