While Christmas is all about the Spirit of giving, family, food, and festivities, most often than not, especially women, find themselves overwhelmed and stressed out. There’s many new things on our already long ‘to do’ list. We focus on doing vs. being. This article will help you give yourself and those around you the greatest gift this holiday season.
Whether you are working or taking care of your family, running a business, or a combination of the above, If you’re not deliberate about the way you approach things in life and how you want to feel, you can stress and overwhelm yourself easily, especially for Christmas. Instead of feeling great and festive, you end up feeling frustrated, burned out and resentful.
You’ve probably guessed by now that the greatest gift you can give yourself this Christmas is you feeling good, you being happy. But how do you do that, exactly?
The best tool I know is meditation. Below are some of the greatest benefits of meditation that I and my clients have experienced, and if you look up, you can find tons of scientific proof on the power and benefits of meditation.
The Greatest Benefits of Meditation:
–better health; meditation reduces stress levels and alleviates anxiety. From this alone, many other health benefits will ensue. Since I’ve been meditating regularly, I don’t remember the last time I went to see my doctor.
–improved concentration; this will make you more productive. You accomplish so much more in so much less time, and with ease.
–less bothered by little things; meditation helps you detach from unimportant little things that lower your energy and affect your vibration. When I meditate, it feels like I know the source of unlimited well-being, no matter how things may seem at the moment.
–knowledge of the Self. Meditation allows you to have deeper understanding of your inner self and your life’s purpose. You get inspired to do things you love and you do them with clarity, ease and great joy.
The greatest benefit of meditation from the Law of Attraction perspective is energy balance. You attract and manifest through your energy. Meditating regularly clears your mind of mental chatter, which brings up to the surface your natural state of well-being and happiness. It raises your personal energetic frequency.
You can simply take 10-15 minutes of your day to sit in silence and focus on your breathing. When the mind starts to wander (it will, that’s its job), bring it back gently to the breath. Like everything else, with time and practice, this will become easy.
Meditation doesn’t have to be long to be effective. Even if you start with five minutes or less, I encourage you to give it at least three weeks and see what happens. I assure you’ll be amazed by the results, insights, and manifestations afterwards.
So there you have it, the greatest gift (and tool) you can give yourself and others this Christmas.
